Placing An Order
We can only accept orders from and to addresses in the United Kingdom,
After placing an order online we will email you a confirmation of your order as soon as possible. This will include our VAT number which is GB362 4340 17.
Our usual posting days are Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's. This is subject to change to meet the demands of the business. Please contact us if you would like to know an exact date your order was dispatched.
We do not have to accept your order and reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order once it has been placed.
This may be done for example if:
- Your payment is not authorised or has been marked as fraudulent, or potentially fraudulent by the payment system.
- Payment has been made using a card not issued in a country we dispatch to.
- There is an error on the website regarding the price or description of a product.
- The items ordered are no longer in stock or available.
- We have tried contacting you about your order and have not heard back within a reasonable period of time.
If the items you have ordered are unavailable you will be notified as soon as possible.

By placing an order with us you are confirming that any information you have given is true and accurate and that you are authorised to use the card on which payment was made.

Our Products
All products are subject to availability which is subject to change. We do not make any of the jewellery pieces we sell and buy all items in bulk from UK and international suppliers. When purchasing, we are given a product description from them including images, sizes and materials used in the product. We cannot accept any liability for the materials stated and advertise each product in good faith from what our supplier has told us. However, if you encounter any problems regarding the look, feel or anything else that you feel does not match the product description, please get in touch immediately and we will always do our best to sort this for you. If this is the case, we would ask you to provide an explanation of the problem along with photographic evidence supporting this. We will then make a decision whether to refund or replace the item(s) in question. We will also pass on your feedback on to our suppliers should the feedback warrant it. This must be within our 30 day refund policy as outlined below.

Products shown will not be actual size, Please do not use the picture as representation of the size of the item. Where available, we provide approximate measurements in the individual product description.

All materials are marked in the product description. Where we use the word 'bonded' we mean plated. As an example, any items marked 'Sterling Silver Bonded alloy' would be 925 silver plated over the top of zinc alloy which is a combination of different base materials. These products perform very similarly to Sterling Silver and you should suffer no irritation as long as you adhere to our guidelines below marked 'jewellery care'. If you know you are allergic to zinc, copper, nickel or any other base materials, please use your own discretion as to whether these will be suitable for you. We cannot be held responsible if irritation is caused by our jewellery.
Where we state alloy, this is a general term for anything that is not a precious metal. This can include; copper, nickel, stainless steel or any other metal. (We use the word alloy as any non-precious metal items are usually a metal mix). Please contact us directly if you would like to know more about the material used in any product.

All colours are reproduced as accurately as electronic processes allow. Some pictures on the website will show brighter colours then what the jewellery actually is. Please note we take pictures direct from our suppliers and these are for illustration purposes only. They represent the jewellery displayed but some colours may be slightly different on the actual item. Some of our items will include at least 1 photo in the reel that we have taken ourselves.

We reserve the right to amend the details and specifications of our products as necessary or to conform with any changes in UK or EU requirements.
We try to ensure that our website is as accurate as possible, however, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or errors beyond our control.

All items (except charms) will be supplied in a suitably sized grip seal bag and then placed in 1 plastic presentation bag. Organza bags can be purchased in the 'Gift boxes and accessories' section of the website. Please note if ordering a gift box, then we may not provide a plastic presentation bag as well. If ordering any item in the sale, we will not always provide a presentation bag. This will be the case during any weekend/Black Friday/time restricted sale.

Please note that due to the nature of sleeper style earrings the stem that goes into the piercing is slightly thicker than traditional stud and drop earrings. This stem needs to slide through the whole ear and then is fastened shut with a clip. Some of our sleeper earrings are quite dainty and may be too small for some peoples ears. All sizes are clearly listed on the product description so if you think they may be too small please do not purchase. Please bear these points in mind when making your purchase of any of our sleeper earrings.

Jewellery Care
Taking care of your jewellery is imperative to make sure it lasts as long as possible. Here are some things you can do to help:

Check fasteners periodically for wear and tear

Do not expose to direct sunlight for long lengths of time as this may cause jewellery to tarnish.

Please do not wear when bathing, exercising, when in bed, doing any housework such as DIY, gardening etc. Please do not allow any jewellery to come into contact with perfume, body lotions, hairspray or any other make up and do not use abrasive cleaners.

Should you do any of the above and the jewellery becomes damaged, we will not be able to offer any refunds.

Pricing And Payment
All prices are in Pounds Sterling.
Where applicable delivery costs will be added to the total price of the goods.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
The price you pay is the price of the goods shown at the time you placed your order, including
any additional delivery costs if applicable.
The website price includes the cost of VAT and you will see this reflected on the checkout screen.

Cancelling An Order Placed
If, after placing, you wish to cancel your order you can do so at any time prior to it being dispatched.
If you do wish to cancel your order you will need to contact us as soon as possible via email to support@darbypritchards.com You will need to quote your order number and confirm your name and address details.
Unfortunately, if your order has already been dispatched before you contact us then you will be unable to cancel
it and will have to return it for a refund

Delivery
We will endeavour to meet our guideline of 3-5 days for delivery. However we cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control. (Please note that the 3-5 days quoted are working days. Please take into account weekends and bank holidays when placing your order).

All orders will be posted to 1 address. We can not accept requests to post items in 1 order to individual addresses.

Standard Royal Mail Delivery 2nd class: We offer free postage on all orders no matter what the cost. These orders are all sent out via Royal Mail 2nd class. With all orders, we obtain a certificate of postage from the Royal Mail which confirms we have posted the item to you. Should the item not arrive, we will screenshot a copy of this certificate to you and it is then your responsibility to chase this with the Royal Mail.. If choosing this method of posting, we can not be held responsible if this item doesn't arrive but will do all we can to resolve the matter with the Royal Mail to ensure you receive the item. This method of posting is insured up to £20.

Royal Mail Delivery 1st Class: We offer this option at a cost of £1. These orders are all sent out via Royal Mail 1st class post. With all orders, we obtain a certificate of postage from the Royal Mail which confirms we have posted the item to you. Should the item not arrive, we will screenshot a copy of this certificate to you and it is then your responsibility to chase this with the Royal Mail.. If choosing this method of posting, we can not be held responsible if this item doesn't arrive but will do all we can to resolve the matter with the Royal Mail to ensure you receive the item. This method of posting is insured up to £20.

Royal Mail Recorded Delivery: This method is chargeable at £3.99 and will be sent recorded. It is tracked once delivery has been made and a tracking number will be provided upon request. Once dispatched all orders are fully insured by Royal Mail or ourselves until they have been delivered and signed for. As soon as your order has been delivered, or confirmed as having been delivered by Royal Mail, you are then responsible for the item.

Royal Mail will only allow us to dispute missing post after 10 working days have passed (2 weeks after the day the item was posted unless bank holidays. Please add an extra day per bank holiday during that 2 week period). If you have not received your order after this time, please let us know and we can resend your item(s) (subject to stock) and we will put in a dispute with Royal Mail to obtain our money back. Please note we cannot offer any refunds on post that has been lost or damaged in transit. If a refund is required we will gladly send you a copy of our proof of postage and you would need to claim a refund from the Royal Mail. Please contact us for information on how to do this.

Returns & Refunds
We will happily refund any order if faulty or damaged under the consumer rights act within 30 days of the date of your purchase. Please contact us at support@darbypritchards.com and we will sort this out on a case by case basis. As a rule of thumb, when contacting us we would ask you to provide your name, order number and a photograph of the problem so that we can speak with our suppliers and swiftly resolve the matter for you. If you cannot/will not provide a photograph, then we can not refund any money. We may ask you to return the product. If so the postage charge will be paid by you.

Should you simply change your mind on a product, we will happily refund you as long as you meet the following guidelines:
- You alert us that you would like to return the product for a refund within 14 days of receiving it.
- The product is returned within 14 days from the date you told us you wanted to return it.
- We reserve the right to refuse a refund if this criteria is not met.
- Please note, postage will not be refunded on any order if a product has been returned due to change of mind. If selecting our free delivery option, we will withhold £2 from the refunded amount towards the cost of the postage. If selecting the 1st class or recorded delivery option, we will not refund the postage paid.
- If returning due to a fault, we will refund the full amount paid

We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage experienced as a result of our website, or the goods and services supplied by it, except as required by law.

Under the Consumer Rights Act, you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described and get a full refund. But this right is limited to 28 days from the date of purchase of your product
Promotional Voucher Codes
From time to time we run various promotions offering an additional discount with the use of a promotional code.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a promotion at any time without prior notice.
The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
